The Company
Echelon Data Centres was established in 2017 by the main principal of Aldgate Developments, a leading commercial property developer and owner of major commercial office buildings in Central London and Dublin. The objective was developing, operating, and owning a network of large-scale, responsibly designed, sustainably powered data centre campuses across the world to meet the rapidly expanding global demand for hyperscale data processing and storage solutions.
Echelon currently has seven data centre facilities either operational or in development across Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Spain with a combined capacity of approximately 1.25GW. The recent acquisition of a prime 37-acre site in Italy, marks the next step of Echelon’s expansion into Continental Europe.
We are now seeking to strengthen and grow our function in our Dublin office by recruiting an experienced BI & Analytics Developer. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to further their career in a highly motivated and inspirational environment.

Business Partnering: Work with various teams from delivery, commercial, finance and procurement to translate data centre delivery complexities into functional/technical reporting requirements.
System Optimisation: Analyse current reporting pipelines, systems and operational workflows to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and automation opportunities.
Documentation: Produce high‑quality functional specifications, technical documentation, data mapping, and process workflows for capital project lifecycles.
Advanced Dashboard Design: Design and maintain Power BI reports tracking construction timelines, health & safety, budget vs. actuals, and site efficiency.
Data Modeling & Pipelines: Build/optimise semantic models and develop robust pipelines using Fabric Data Factory/notebooks to ingest data from diverse systems.
DAX & Power Query: Apply strong DAX and Power Query (M) skills for complex financial and operational calculations.
Security & Governance: Implement strict security models (including RLS) and governance controls to protect sensitive commercial data.
